When you see “COPY” on a coin, it means it’s a replica made for collectors, display, or educational use. The marking is required by law to distinguish it from real currency.
Its value depends on what it’s made of and how it was produced. Silver or gold replicas carry bullion value, and well-crafted reproductions can have collector appeal.
