On the obverse, there is the effigy of King Charles III (designed by Dan Thorne), with inscriptions of weight, purity, and denomination. On the reverse, there is a depiction of a mare and her foal galloping against a backdrop of mountains and grasslands, the Chinese character for “Horse,” the inscription “HORSE 2026,” and the Perth Mint’s “P” mint mark.
