Most modern Australian silver coins, including the Silver Kangaroo, Kookaburra, and Lunar Series, are struck in .9999 fine silver, making them some of the purest silver coins available. Some older releases, such as earlier Kookaburras and Koalas, were minted in .999 fine silver.
