The mint mark on a 1909 Indian Head gold coin is located on the reverse side of the coin, just left of the arrowheads in the bundle the eagle is perched on. If the coin was minted in Philadelphia, it will not have a mint mark. Sources: https://bullionexchanges.com/buy-gold...
